How We Launched a Successful Painting Company

Brian and Denise Brosnan are the founders of the New England based painting company, Prismic Shades Painting. The company started up in 2017, as an entrepreneurial dream to escape the rat race and become their own bosses. It wasn’t easy giving up a 9-5 job that they were used to, but after giving birth to their premature baby, they needed the flexibility to bring her to medical appointments and care for her. The owners described their decision as a career change “not only for ourselves but for the wellbeing of our kids”.

Now Brian and Denise describe working for themselves as ” such a blessing, and we truly strive to be the best bosses we have always wanted and we pass on the same respect to our crew”.

Prismic Shades Painting takes pride in transforming your home or business to its full potential, with just a little (well, maybe a lot!) of paint. It isn’t just about the paint – but the process that goes into it, a lot of which they discovered through the process of becoming the owners of a successful painting business. When Brian and Denise aren’t working – they are running around with their little ones, Lincoln and Abagail. Their favorite thing to do is listen to music and have dance parties! They also look forward to their yearly visit to Portugal, which they describe as their favorite place in the world.

Brian and Denise also take pride in helping out the community – whether it is supporting local youth sports organizations or bigger Boston based charities.

Their greatest passion is the look of happiness and gratitude on their clients’ faces when they complete the work.. we hope you’re next!
